Experience in Usui Shiki Ryoho has taught us the importance of integrating the lessons you have received. We call this term Time and Timing. A possible next step is only taken after a dedicated practice of the previously learned. Because of this you know precisely whether a next Reiki degree suits you and if so, when. A second Reiki degree can be received by students who have a devoted practice for a year or more and desire a deeper awareness of themselves, of Reiki and of the world around us. If you have doubts about a possible next degree, it is best to talk to your Reiki master.
consists of a total of three sessions and a follow up meeting. There is usually one or more days between session 1 and session 2. Sessions 2 and 3 are given on one day (morning and evening) or spread over two days. The first session lasts approximately two hours, session two and three approximately three hours. This degree is also passed on by spoken word.
Session 1
The concept of holy and secret will be explained to you, after which you receive three Reiki symbols with their holy texts. You practice drawing the symbols briefly in the group. At home you continue to practice until the next session.
Session 2
The energy of the first two symbols will be explained to you and the meaning of the sacred texts. You will then learn how to use these symbols in self-treatment and the treatment of others. You will also learn what a mental healing is and how you give it. You receive the second degree initiation in a personal moment with the Reiki Master. Then you practice the physical 2nd degree treatment including the mental healing.
Session 3
The use and energy of the third symbol will be explained to you and the meaning of the corresponding sacred text. You learn the formal and informal distance treatment for yourself and others. You receive knowledge about time and space, the unseen world and exchange of information. As completion you will receive a certificate.
To practise
Om de Reikisymbolen en hun energie in je dagelijks leven te integreren ga je zo’n vier weken dagelijks afstandbehandelingen sturen naar anderen. Aan het eind van je Reikiklas worden hier afspraken met mede-studenten voor gemaakt.
Follow up
After about five weeks we meet again to share experiences and ask questions. The duration of the meeting is usually 2 - 2.5 hours. Depending on the group this can be on a morning, afternoon or evening.
